Company Overview
RAAF Base Williamtown is home to the command, operational and support elements of Air Combat Group’s tactical fighter force components operating F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, Hawk and PC-9 aircraft. In addition the Base is home to Surveillance and Response Group’s Air Surveillance and Battlefield Management command and support elements and the E-7A Airborne Early Warning and Control aircraft.

Scope of works:
1. Design, supply and installation of the following 24 x Form 2b, IP44, Orange, Powder coated mild steel MSSBs:

2. Supply and installation of electrical energy meters at the above mentioned MSSBs.
3. Supply and installation of cabling from the above mentioned MSSBs serving the following equipment:
- 56 x AHUs
- 3 x Hot Water Boilers
- 64 x FCUs
- 96 x Misc. NE Fans
- 4 x SEFs
- 32 x Split A/Cs
- 4 x PCHWPs
- 4 x PHHWPs
- Power supplies to BMS (assumed as 1 panel adjacent to each MSSB)
4. Supply and installation of cabling from DBs (DB/s supplied and installed by others) serving 14 x CEFs.
5. Design, supply and installation of MCP-OA01-1-01 including cabling of adjacent louver actuators.
6. Supply and installation of cabling serving 33 x MSFDs including failsafe non-essential cabling.
BMS Installation - Supply and Install
- 18 x small BMS Panels housing free issued controllers.
- 6 x large BMS Panels housing free issued controllers.
- Cabling serving 1609 x low level BMS points (Excluding VAVs).
- Cabling serving 116 x VAVs.
- Cabling serving 166 x HLI Drops.
- Cabling serving controller network (any cabling between buildings are excluded, it is assumed a RAAF network connection point will be provided at each BMS panel by others).
Outcome
PowerLink Mechanical Electrical System will allow the team to operate the HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis. Real time monitoring and alarm management of all HVAC equipment provide the customer with the ability to control the building effectively.
